nothing special here, but I would order from them again. the sweet and sour chicken wasn't really sweet or sour, but whatever it was, was fine.

Bangkok 2 Thai is my go-to for some quick Thai. The food is good, they give generous portions, and the prices are reasonable. It's by no means the BEST Thai food you will ever eat, but nothing is ever too spicy or aggressive. The main thing is that they have always delivered within the delivery window and the food has always been hot and the order correct. I would recommend if you like Thai and just want a quick and simple meal, order from here.

Bland, flavorless, fried. Only flavor is oil, which is amazing when the dish is described as "hot and spicy"

Good food. Decent price. Got there quick. yay

All I ask is that you don't put MSG in my food, which I know a lot of Chinese and Thai food has, so I let them know not to put it in and if they did to call me. No call. They just delivered MSG saturated food. They don't listen to instructions quite well. No bueno.

I've been eating here for years because I used to live in Stuy town and I work nearby. They redecorated a few years ago and now it's actually very nice to eat in too. It's typically crowded at lunch time but the wait is never too long. I order from them all the time and delivery is fast and accurate. The food is good and consistent. The lunch specials are incredibly well priced. I have tried almost everything and it's all good. The duck salad btw is one of the better ones in the city (and I have tried a lot of them, one of my favorite dishes).

The shrimp in the Shrimp pad Thai was tender, the sauce was tasty. I would have loved some extra peanuts. Steamed veggies side portion was large and fresh.

Delicious thai. Always consistent. The Pad Kee Mao and Pad See Ew are the best I've ever had, not too greasy like most other restaurants. Green curry is very spicy but also great. Everything is very fresh and seems prepared from scratch. Good portions and price. This is my go-to for thai food. There is nothing I've tried and haven't liked.

Really delicious satay, fantastic coconut soup.

I have ordered from this restaurant the most on Seamless. That's because the food is delicious, reasonably priced, and always arrives quickly. I've had the BKK Chicken, the Ginger (with chicken) Lunch Special, the Larb Salad (like 4 times), Mommy's Fried Chicken, Super Beef, Cashew Nut (with chicken) and the Pineapple Fried RIce (with chicken). Everything has always been consistently good. If you like Thai food, definitely try this place. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I didn't even finish my food. Lunch portion was quite small, pad thai tasted like ketchup and the summer roll had brown lettuce with little else. Heed the bad warnings and go elsewhere. It did come quickly, but meh.

Best pad thai in the area.
And Joy, the girl on the phone, is full of joy! she's very friendly and helpful
I also like those gold puffs, i think they are called

Lunch specials are always great and fast!

Lunch special was flavorless.
Chicken and rice soup very good which saved this from being a one star rating. I would not order from here again as there is better Thai in the neighborhood.

Great place! Timely and delicious takeout. Food is not too salty or over saturated in sauces. They are very nice here and always attentive. Dining in is also great - it's BYOB and reasonably priced. They have a 5% discount when you check in on Facebook and dine in!
Try the basil chicken and tom yum soup.

Nice and spicy how Thai food should be

The Singapore noodles are a win! Plus they are very fast for delivery and take out. My Thai staple!
Posted 3 years ago by Corwin T.
Delicious pad thai with extra tasty sauce at the bottom, and crispy delicious curry puffs. Much more flavorful than your average Thai takeout. 4 stars instead of 5 only because I haven't had anything else on the menu yet.

Food was solid and was delivered quickly.

It's been years since I've had Thai food this fresh and this flavorful, and never before when delivered. The chicken was perfectly cooked and good quality, the vegetables were fresh, the spices kicked, and the spring roll turned out to be four little flaky, crunchy wraps of deliciousness. The peanut sauce was so good it moaned (I swear, that was the sauce).

really good pad ke mao.
they ignored my request to put fried egg though :-(
also avoid the thai iced tea, there is better thai iced tea in the neighborhood.
Posted 3 years ago by Fatima B.
I love this place. Everything we've ordered has been great and is consistent. I seriously dislike eggs so I ask in the instructions to omit eggs and they always comply. I think that is impressive that it is always accurate. Sometimes the delivery is a bit late but the food is always hot and fresh. Our favorite dishes are the larb gai, pan fried spicy noodles, mama's fried chicken, the chicken wings, and the BK special grilled chicken.

This place is exceptional. I hope they always have this chef. This food is phenomenal. I am addicted! My favs: Spring Rolls, Angel Shrimp, Golden Bags, Thai Fried Rice. YUM!!!

I'm vegetarian and love Tom Kha soup, which I know can have fish sauce in it. When I called to ask whether they used a substitution, the lady on the phone was honest and took the time to tell me that it wasn't vegetarian b/c of the fish sauce. A lot of places would have just told me it was vegetarian without thinking twice. I ended up getting the coconut soup with tofu and asking them to put vegetables in it. WOW. Even more amazing than any Tom Kha I've had. It was so creamy in taste, but still soupy like a broth. Super flavorful and a small size goes a long way. They put in the veggies like I asked too. Also ordered the Kee Mao with tofu and asked them to make it spicy. Really delicious! It arrived promptly and the portions are generous enough for 2 big meals even if you're hungry. And the price is awesome! Will definitely be ordering again!

I Used to love to order from here. Last time the food came completely different. - Full of curry and not tasting like Thai Food at all.

I don't have any food allergies but ordered from here last night and broke out into hives after eating the shrimp pad thai. The shrimp must not have been fresh or was not cleaned properly.

Pad see ew is great, dumping soup good too.

very delicious! portions are large enough to feed one person for two meals
Posted 4 years ago by mia h.
Ordered the basil lunch special with chicken. It tasted good and was a healthy portion for the money. It wasn't that spicy, but it was a seasoned very well. The egg roll wasn't too greasy, and the salad was fresh and crisp. Overall, a solid choice for a good lunch.

Pad Kee Mao was amazing! Some of the best I've had in NYC.

Pa see ew is super salty!!! Papaya salad tastes like sushi. I think they use the same cutting board.
Posted 5 years ago by jiyoon k.
Don't order from here. Curry comes with a laughful amount of rice packaged in saran wrap and is more of a soup than a substantial curry. Lacks flavor. Terrible.
Posted 5 years ago by Jessica C.
Decent pad thai - It's a nice place - nothing fancy. - I'll order from them again.
Posted 5 years ago by Scott S.
The lunch portions are rather small. Also, there's just something "off" about the seasoning. The sauce for the deep fried tofu was strangely favourless, while the pad thai tasted ketchup-y.
Posted 5 years ago by Iris T.
Good food, but portions are a little small.
Posted 5 years ago by Matthew R.
The food was delicious. Not very greasy at all and full of flavor. I would recommend the basil fried rice.

Always great tofu pad thai, could use some more veggies in it though
Posted 5 years ago by Rachel G.
Really I want to rate at a 3.5 I guess. Started ordering here after a horrible experience with Ruby's down the street- gets here fast and hot. Curry's are good, thought the pad thai and rice were slightly bland, but for thai in this neighborhood we still order from them.
Posted 5 years ago by Sara D.
get the same thing for lunch everyday: the basil stir fry (with only broccoli, carrots, and chicken) and a thai iced coffee; it is incredibly delicious, hence why i order it ever day. they also make a good thai iced coffee. they use good and fresh ingredients, have accommodating staff, and the delivery is fast which encourages me to order it all the time

the pad thai gave me major stomach "issues" .. the fried tofu appetizer was super bland... I was just in thailand, and would definitely classify this as tasting more like soggy chinese food than authentic thai food... on the plus side, it is affordable.
Posted 5 years ago by Dan L.
Looked better than it tasted. Pad Thai was pointless. Why it's the number one seller is beyond me.
The delivery guy woke up my kids as he must have got his finger glued to the buzzer or something. Another mediocre asian restaurant in NYC.

It took more than 1h30 to get one single Pad Thai! forget about it if you are hungry!
Posted 5 years ago by Tanguy G.
The Pad Kee Mao was tasty, although I expected a little more (sufficient for a small dinner but not as much as you might get elsewhere). Dumplings were tasty and light and delivery was quick.

Never reviewed before but felt like I ought to with this place. I've ordered from here a bunch of times, it is consistently good, never screwed up an order, (even always include the extra chili paste I ask for) and the price can't be beat. Always comes faster than the estimated time, too. The noodles and curries are delicious, the spring rolls aren't my favorites but are decent, and the soup with coconut is absolutely delicious. portions aren't huge but are certainly in keeping with the price. a great find!
